Angela Kelsey

A principal in her family's commercial real estate development business, Angela Kelsey, PhD, MFA is a survivor of domestic violence. She has asked herself unflinchingly how she got into such a situation, why she stayed for as long as she did, and what finally gave her the courage to leave.

Becky Cool

Becky Cool is a survivor of child sexual abuse and rape. She has spent the last six years as a member and moderator for an online support site for survivors of sexual abuse, rape, and domestic violence.

In 2011, she will complete her BS in Psychology and begin studies toward a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling.

Becky believes that her life's work is to help people not only survive but grow through their traumatic experiences.

Beverly Schroeder

Beverly Schroeder, BS, LPT is the "mom" of the staff. While she has enjoyed her career as a physical therapist in a variety of different specialties and her role of educator for her six children, her top priorities have always been her children, her marriage and her personal relationships.

As a breast cancer survivor, nutrition and learning about the causes and prevention of cancer have also become a passion. Helping women cope with health, relationships and parenting challenges is her specialty.

Thomas Schroeder

Thomas Schroeder, MAC, LMHC has spent over thirty-seven years helping groups and individuals grow.
He has spent the last twelve years as a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in south Florida. Presently over 64 nationalities are represented in his practice.

His extensive experience working with sexual abuse in women and men has inspired him to extend his practice online. As an Adjunct Professor in two different graduate schools, Thomas has been equipped to communicate, teach and train our staff and members in the skills they need.

His 34-year marriage and six grown children have given Thomas ample opportunities to practice his philosophy of life, relationships, and conflict resolution skills.

Carlos Escanilla

For the past five years, Carlos Escanilla, MS-I, has worked with adolescents and children. In addition, he spent one year in a clinical setting with survivors of domestic violence and broken homes. Carlos has also helped adults and adolescents who struggle with substance abuse and schizophrenia.

Carlos has a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and believes in working with people in mastering the trauma they have suffered in order to enhance personal growth.
